TsAGI同德国航空联盟建立合作关系, 空气流体动力学协会

Mikhail Savin, deputy Minister of Industry and Science of the Moscow region, and Klemens Appel, Head of the State Chancellery of Brandenburg (Germany), signed the Road Map - an agreement for partnership in aeronautics on August 20 at the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) in Zhukovsky (Russia).
According to the agreement, TsAGI (The Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute), as the National Contact Point in aeronautics, will represent the Russian party for current coordination of cooperation in the framework of the partnership. Berlin-Brandenburg Aerospace Alliance e.V. (BBAA e.V.) will act on behalf of the German party.

The agreement defines five priorities for joint research: alternative fuel, engine noise, safety and resources, geoinformation systems, maintenance and overhaul. Some other fields of cooperation include aerodynamic stability of the compressors, coatings and materials, education and training, engine integration.

"Cooperation in the field of aeronautics with Brandenburg is beneficial for both Russia and Germany: it gives financial support and allows TsAGI stay on top of the latest achievements of the foreign science”, commented Sergey Chernyshev, Director of TsAGI.
