According to Airport Service Quality Survey done by Airport Council International in 2008, Domodedovo Moscow International Airport ranks among top 5 international airports in two categories: airports of Europe and airports with a passenger traffic of 15-25 mln people per year.

In 2008 the unique unprecedented survey took place in 108 international airports all over the world. One of its main objectives was to find out and better understand the needs of the passengers. Passenger polling was done on a monthly basis during a year; passengers evaluated 30 aspects of airport servicing: amount of time required for check-in and passport control, condition of the general airport infrastructure, impeccable cleanness and spaciousness of the passenger terminal, friendly staff, comfortable waiting lounges, sufficient information signs, toilets, etc.

Domodedovo, with such a positive appraisal, was the only Russian airport among the recognized world leaders.
