First organizing committee meeting of Civil Aircraft Avionics Systems and Equipment Technology Summit held in Shanghai

The organizing committee meeting of Civil Aircraft Avionics Systems and Equipment Technology Summit was held in San want-Shanghai Hotel on December 20th, 2011. Guoqin WANG, President of China Aeronautical Radio Electronics Research Institute presided at the meeting, other attendees included Jian SUN, Director of International Cooperation Department of Chinese Aeronautical Establishment; ZHANG Hongjun, Vice President of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation Tenth Research Institute; Guirong ZHOU, Head of Avionics & Deputy Chief Designer of COMAC Researching Center; Mingwang WU, Former President of China Aeronautical Radio Electronics Research Institute, and other representatives of AVIC General Aircraft Research Institute, AVIC Helicopter Design Institute, AVIC Radar & Electric Equipment Research Institute, AVIC Aeronautics Computing Technique Research Institute, AVIC Flight Automatic Control Research Institute and Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd.
Guoqin WANG, the executive director of the organizing committee, Mingwang WU, the member of the organizing committee, and Ran LI, Director of the Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd spoke at the meeting.

The meeting confirmed the summit organizing committee structure hosted by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) and Chinese Aeronautical Establishment (CAE). Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is to be the official support organization. Guoqing WANG will host the summit and the opening speech will be made by Gaozhuo LIU, President of the organizaing committee and CSAA. Song WU, Secretary General of Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Jian SUN will speak at the opening and closing ceremony separately. Peide FENG, the Deputy to the Head of Science and Technology Committee, AVIC Group, will make a summary at the end of the summit.

In order to ensure full participation of the enterprises and institutes, the organizing committee decided to revise the summit date to 30th-31st March 2012.
