Aircraft Engineering Concern and Rohde&Schwarz to develop joint radio communication programs, MAKS 2011 - МАКС 2011

August 16, 2011: at MAKS 2011, Russian Technologies represented by Aircraft Engineering Concern (Aviapriborostroenie) and the German Rohde&Schwarz sign memorandum of agreement to develop joint radio communication programs

Memorandum was signed by Andrey Tyulin, general director of Aircraft Engineering Concern, Achim Klein, VP of Rohde&Schwarz, and Gerhard Alberter, representative of Rohde&Schwarz, in the presence of Sergey Chemezov, general director of Russian Technologies.

The memorandum fulfills an earlier cooperation agreement between Russian Technologies and Rohde&Schwarz concerning joint development of radio communication programs.

According to the memorandum, the parties agree on joint development of on-board antijamming radio stations compliant with the most advanced Russian and world requirements.

To implement this agreement, a joint working group will be formed, with the Russian party headed by Andrey Tyulin, general director of Aircraft Engineering Concern.

In September 2011, the Russian work group plans to visit one of the Rohde&Schwarz companies to study the German technologies.
