Rosoboronexport to present more than 100 Russian arms and combat equipment at MAKS 2011, 俄罗斯国防产品出口公司
Release Date: 2011-08-15Now, all visitors to D0 at MAKS 2011 will enjoy interactive shows of Russian aviation - Su-35 and MiG-29М fighters, Yak-130, combat helicopters Ка-52А and Mi-28NE, military and transport Mi-171Sh and transport Mi-26Т. 15 units in total - all on interactive show.
Currently, aviation equipment and air defense account for more than 50% of Rosoboronexport's deliveries. Current results of 2011 witness that the annual plan for exports of aviation will be fully done.
"During this year, we have worked with our traditional partners – India and China. We are increasing partnership with Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanma. Moreover, we look quite optimistically at cooperation with a few African countries. Russia has points of growth, and we are switching to action", noted Alexander Mikheev, deputy director of Rosoboronexport.
"By all means, our helicopter leaders are the military and transport type Mi-17 supplied in H1 to Thailand, Indonesia, and - soon - to Peru. We are also starting supplies of Mi-17V-5 to India. We have made contracts for this helicopter type with U.S. defense ministry for Afghanistan and Sri-Lanka", comments Mikheev.
Rosoboronexport leads on the international markets of air defense. The main prospects are supplies with long range air defense missile systems - S-300 and S-400, Buk-М2E and Tor-М2E, Panzir-S1, Igla-S, radars and EW systems, as well as services for local repairs of air defense equipment. Our potential customers are Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
At MAKS 2011, Rosoboronexport will introduce its guests to Russian aircraft (Yak-130, MiG-29SMT, MiG-35D, Su-30MK, Su-30MK2, Su-35, Su-32, rotorcraft Ка-52А, Mi-28NE, Mi-171Sh, Mi-26Т, Ka-31, Mi-35M, Mi-35P) and air defense weapons: Buk-М2E, Tor-М2E, Igla-S ЗРК, Pechora-2М, Antey-2500, S-400.
Rosoboronexport will also present a wide range of aviation munitions, radars, control systems and control stations for air defense troops, training systems for pilots and air defense specialists.
