The first International Air Transport Forum in Ulyanovsk includes a Congress, an Exhibition “Innovations in aviation” featuring aviation companies, colleges and other representatives of Russian, European and Asian aviation, a session of the Russian-French Council on Economy, Finance, Industry and Trade and a few strategic agreements among the major aviation companies of Russia and Ulyanovsk region.The Congress on April 22 envisages development of civil and cargo aviation transport of Russia, renewal of the fleet, development of cargo and transport aviation, aircraft maintenance and repair, development of regional aviation and training new staff.
The Congress consists of a plenary session (up to 400 people), two conferences (up to 150 people each), two round tables (up to 70 people each) with presentations of investment projects and the best student projects, award ceremony for the winners of SKB of Russia 2011, press briefings of the participants and networking during the Forum.
Presentations of the best student projects and investment projects will take place during lunch and coffee break.
The international congress and exhibition will take place at Vostochny airport in Ulyanovsk
The exhibition at Vostochny airport on April 22-23 in the frame of the first International Air Transport Forum will consist of:

Aircraft by the leading Russian and international manufacturers - An-124, Il-76, Boeing, Diamond, Yak-18 and many others – will be located on the open platform.
The first International Air Transport Forum in Ulyanovsk would like to invite airlines, aircraft manufacturers and aircraft repair works, banking, insurance and consulting companies, logistic operators, infrastructure companies, fuel companies and оil and gas companies, airports and universities to participate in the international exhibition.
Airshow
Exhibition of aviation equipment and demonstration flights will take place during the first International Air Transport Forum at Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airport on April 22-23, 2011. Svetlana Kapanina, a world champion, will show acrobatic flying with EXTRA-330 aircraft, Garry Georkov, world champion, will make a virtuoso show with Mi-2 helicopter. The program includes flights of modern small aircraft and the legendary veteran of WWII – PO-2.
The summit of the show will be the performance and acrobatic program of one of the globally recognized pilot groups Pervy Polet (“First Flight”) with piston aircraft Yak-52.
Virtuoso high precision paratrooper jumps and air combats by aircraft modelers will suit audiences of all ages.
The pride of Russian aviation will be shown on the ground and in the sky - Tu-204 и An-124 Ruslan manufactured in Ulyanovsk.
