9 aircraft with engines by Perm Motor Works made their first flights in 2010, Perm Motors

9 aircraft with PS-90A engines by Perm Motor Works took to the skies for the first time in 2010: two Тu-214 PU, Тu-204-SE, Тu-204-S, Il-76TD-90VD, Il-76MF, Il-96-300, Tu-204SM.
The new jets were ordered by Air Koryo (Korea), Aviastar-Tu, Volga-Dnepr, as well as the Air Forces of Jordan and Russian President's office.

In late December 2010, the Russian Tu-204SM equipped with Perm Motor engines PS-90A2 made its first flight to test the engine and confirm its technical parameters at the Ulyanovsk-based Aviastar-SP.

Mikhail Dicheskul, Managing Director of Perm Motor Works, commented: "Today, about 80 jets with PS-90А engines are operated in the world, with about 290 engines working intensively. In 2011, UAC plans to organize take-offs of 12 aircraft. Five of them are already equipped with PS-90А engines by Perm Motor Works.
