Dinamika CSTS announces completion of a procedural simulator for Su-24M, Dinamika CSTS - ЗАО ЦНТУ "Динамика"

Zhukovsky, Jan 25, 2011: Dinamika CSTS announces completion of a procedural simulator that represents a remote crew station of Su-24M. The work was accomplished in the framework of creating a training complex for the flight and engineering crew of Su-24M belonging to Russian Navy's onshore-based assault aviation. The training complex will include the remote crew station, simulator for the crew and automatic training system for pilots and engineers of Su-24M.
The remote crew station can be upgraded to Su-24М2 by replacing the software.
The complex is intended for tactical training of assault aviation flight crew, training of pilots and engineers, assessing the efficiency of accomplishing typical tasks under different combat conditions, objective control of theoretical and practical training courses. The new complex can be combined with tactical simulators of the command center and flight supervisors.
The remote crew station includes a modeling complex, system blocks, monitors imitating the avionics board, switchboards and exterior images, joysticks, pedals, imitators of real control devices for missiles. 3D scanner and 3D printer make an exact imitation of Su-24M's control devices.
Su-24М, operated in military aviation since 1983, is a complex machine for piloting and has a relatively high emergency level. No complex simulator had been used to train flight crews before in the history of its operation.
Creation of a complex simulator for Su-24М, the main element of the new training complex, is expected to be finished by the end of summer 2011.
