One of the main points on its agenda was to consider the program aimed at increasing aluminum consumption in Russia. According to the participants, the Russian military industry is also very important as a major consumer of aluminum and a potentially big niche for aluminum semi-products.
Generally, the program for increasing aluminum consumption in Russia has been approved but it has been agreed that ti still requires some modifications. In January 2011 it is planned to run another meeting for final approval of the program.
