Russia's security industry preparing for WC 2018: key topic at Security and Safety Technologies 2011

Russia will host football WC 2018 in 13 cities - Moscow, St-Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don.Issues of security at sport events are among the priorities in the business agenda of "Safety Technologies" 16th International Forum, with a conference on safety at Sochi 2014 Olympics and other workshops and round tables on safety during public sports events.
Leading Russian and international experts in safety, representatives of the Russian Olympic Committee, Olimpstroy Corporation and municipal administrations are invited to participate in the Forum to discuss the construction and modernization of the sports facilities and the allocated budgets.
According to Alexey Kudrin, Russian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Russia has a clear plan for construction of new sports facilities and modernization of the existing sports facilities for the 2018 Championship which totals, according to preliminary estimations, around 300 bln rubles. Kudrin says that there expenditures are included in 2011-2013 budgets.
Organizers would like to invite experts and leaders of the industry to take part in Safety Technologies Forum.
