Tolmachevo airport (Novosibirsk) is ready to become All Nippon Airways' alternative airport in Russia, 托尔马切沃机场 (新西伯利亚)

All Nippon Airways (Japan), represented by Matsumoto Kadzumiko, Captain of Boeing-777, Sakamoto Naoyuki, Operations Manager, Yasui Hideki, Captain of Boeing-777, Sinomia Yuichi, Quality Manager, and Galina Nikonova, the Moscow-based sales manager of All Nippon Airways, visited Tolmachevo airport to discuss possible cooperation with Tolmachevo airport (Novosibirsk).
All Nippon Airways and Tolmachevo airport discussed on-ground servicing of All Nippon Airways' Boeing-777 aircraft in case of an emergency landing in Tolmachevo when flying the Transsiberian corridor according to ETOPS.
All Nippon Airways delegation was also presented the domestic and international terminal of Tolmachevo airport, the registration halls, customs and border control zones, business lounge and other facilities. The Japanese guests also saw the new runway opened on September 25, visited the new flight control tower, the cargo terminal and special transport facility.
As a result of the meeting, the delegation of All Nippon Airways showed their interest in cooperating with Tolmachevo airport that fully complies with the strict standards of the airline. Igor Leontyev, Head of Aviation Marketing Department, is confident in the chances of Tolmachevo to become the alternative airport for landing of Boeing-777 aircraft of All Nippon Airways.
