The meeting of the RF Government Military-Industrial Commission resulted in a resolution to continue integrating Russian space companies into ISS-Reshetnev’s single structure and brand.Thus far, Reshetnev Company has integrated nine Russian enterprises involved in spacecraft manufacturing, in particular, Research & Production Enterprise “Geophisika-Cosmos” (Moscow), Scientific and Production Enterprise “Kvant” (Moscow), Scientific and Research Enterprise of Space Instrumentation Industry “Kvant” (Rostov-on-Don), Siberian Devices and Systems (Omsk), Scientific and Production Center “Polyus” (Tomsk) as well as four Zheleznogorsk companies – Sibpromproekt, NPO PM - Razvitie, NPO PM – Small Design Bureau and Technical Test Center – NPO PM.
The integration implementation schedule for the current year has been recently approved to facilitate the formation of 11 integrated companies in the space industry. Thus, the second-wave integration initiative will allow the Siberian satellite manufacturer ISS-Reshetnev to considerably increase its authorized capital stock through share capital injections from another 7 Roscosmos enterprises, including 2 holding companies to be based on the federal unitary enterprise VNIIEM and the joint-stock company “Scientific&Production Corporation “Precision Instrumentation Systems”.
The ambitious integration process is now well under way and is part of the large-scale ongoing restructuring of the national military-industrial complex undertaken to optimize the production management system. The further enlargement will definitely bring the Reshetnev Company new challenges and greater responsibility.
