莫斯科多莫杰多沃机场加大投资以扩建头等舱旅客候机室

Release Date: 2010-05-26

RUSSIA. Moscow Domodedovo International Airport, which is operated by East Line Group, has doubled the size of its main passenger business lounge, as the group continues to invest in non-aeronautical activities and consumer services.

The lounge, located on the second floor of the international flight gallery, now measures 657 sq. m and has 160 seats.

The area offers travellers the opportunity to watch news, sports and music TV channels or to use the lounge’s buffet service. The menu features hot and cold dishes, fruit, pastries and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

According to East Line, “The new business lounge has a wonderful view of the apron and guests have an opportunity to [overlook] Domodedovo’s partner airlines. The contemporary design of the lounge has a natural, minimalist style and the colours used create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The floor pattern imitates a yacht deck, and ethnic motifs and the abundance of plants put passengers in the mood for travelling.”

The services of the lounge are used by premium class passengers from 29 airlines operating from Domodedovo. In addition, Diners Club, Citibank and Domodedovo International Airport Club (DIAC) card holders may use the facility. Plus, other passengers can also purchase tickets for the lounge in the information desk in the terminal, at the international flight departure area before gate 1, at Moscow Travel Agency desks at the airport, or at the Paveletsky railway station.

The expansion takes place amid a major expansion and refurbishment of Domodedovo Airport that includes new retail and food & beverage outlets both airside and landside, and a range of new consumer services. The airport also plans to build a new International Terminal, though the timing of this remains uncertain.
