The award ceremony took place on April 26, 2010 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

EMAA includes 22 nominations. The award was founded by Arabian Reach with the support of German Airports Technology Equipments, the Netherlands Airports Technology Group, the British Airports Group, Middle East Aerospace Consortium & Local Government Authorities.
