HELIRUSSIA 2010 will showcase a wide array of brand new developments of the Russian and foreign helicopter manufacturers. While Helirussia 2008, the first exhibition, hosted 22 foreign exhibitors, Helirussia 2009 and 2010 are hosting more than 30 exhibitors representing all the global helicopter manufacturers (except Sikorsky Aircraft)Two major foreign helicopter manufacturers – Eurocopter and Agusta Westland – are presenting ЕС 175 and AW 139, which will soon be produced in Russia, for the first time in Russia. ЕС 175 has made its public début at the airshow in Le Bourget in August 2009.
The stand of AgustaWestland is located beside OPK Oboronprom that are starting joint production of AW 139 helicopter that will be supplied to, primarily, Russian consumers, and exported in the CIS and other countries through the international network of AgustaWestland.
HELIRUSSIA 2010 is also presenting new developments by the Russian helicopter manufacturers such as Rumas A135 developed by KB Maslova (with a training cockpit available to everybody).
The Russian part of HELIRUSSIA 2010 will be based on the stand of OPK Oboronprom that joins Russian Helicopters and the United Engine Building Corporation (ODK). 18 Russian companies will present their developments for new models of Mi, Ka and Ansat helicopters.
Ukrainian (Motor Sich and Ivchenko-Progress) and French manufacturers (Turbomeca) will also present the new helicopter engines.
HELIRUSSIA 2010 is also presenting the newest foreign developments in avionics and helidrome solutions (a modernized digital internal communication system and a personal emergency beacon by Becker Avionics), and six foreign and Russian gyrocopters.
The stand of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris will host 13 French companies and 15 exhibitors – more than any other country, to mark the year of France in Russia.
The business program of Helirussia 2010 (free for the participants) is going to include a wide array of events. In the framework of the Year of France in Russia, Helirussia is organizing an international Russo-French conference on international cooperation in helicopter aviation.
The Association of Helicopter Industry, jointly with www.AviaPort.ru, are running the second international conference on the prospects of helicopter market and a seminar on American and European aviation standards.
May 21 is the day of Russian Helicopters, which includes a conference on regional aviation in Russia and a seminar on innovations in helicopter construction.
One of the highlights of Helirussia 2010 is the annual AVI award ceremony.
Helirussia 2010 will be held in Moscow on May 20-22, 2010 in Crocus Expo.
