United Aircraft Corporation announces its preliminary unaudited results for the year 2009.Some of the financial and operational highlights are 114 billion roubles (18.1% up y-o-y) in revenues, execution of certification tests for Sukhoi Superjet 100 and launch of serial production of Yak-130 combat trainer and An-148 regional passenger aircraft asw ell as other new aircraft models
According to the preliminary reports, UAC`s consolidated revenue in 2009 increased by 18.1% in comparison with 2008 and amounted to about 114 billion roubles. Sales of defense aircraft in 2009 increased 19.6% and amounted to approximately 86.0 billion roubles. Sales of commercial aircraft in 2009 grew 8.7% and reached 12.5 billion roubles. Research and development financing from the Russian Federation and commercial customers increased 18.3%. Total revenue from R&D in 2009 amounted to 15.5 billion roubles.
In 2009, export volumes remained unchanged at about 69.0 billion roubles vs 68.9 billion rubles in 2008. Domestic sales of aircraft and R&D services showed significant growth increasing by 63.0% and reached 45.0 billion roubles.
UAC`s consolidated debt was reduced by 13% y-o-y and totaled 157 billion roubles in 2009 due to the state subsidies to the Russian aircraft manufacturers. UAC's capital increased by 21.3 billion roubles.
