UAC maintains funding for long-term plans, ATO Events

According to Alexey Fedorov, President of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), state funding for the key commercial programs of Rusia's state-run civil aviation body has been secured, in spite of adverse economic and financial conditions.Although the economic turndown has affected the airlines’ purchasing power, forcing UAC in turn to revise its production plans, the corporation will have enough money during 2009 to continue its key commercial programs, Fedorov said.
