The main Russian and foreign companies have confirmed their participation, with UAC, Sukhoi, MiG, Oboronprom, etc among them.It is for the first time that Super Jet 100 will be presented at static stands and in the flying program. Currently, 100 Russian and 11 foreign companies have applied for participation in MAKS-2009.
Organizers of MAKS have met with representatives of flying groups and air attaches of France and Italy, signed agreements with Patrouille de France, Rafael aircraft (Air Forces of France), Freccie Tricolori (Italy’s Air Forces) and S-27 (Italy’s Air Forces) (flying program and the static stand).
During the first meeting of the Organization Committee of MAKS-2009, Russian Air Forces confirmed participation of their piloting groups - Russian Knights, Strizhi and Sokoli.
As for the business aviation and general aviation, new ideology of the exhibition implies more comfortable setting of the aircraft on the static stand for the visitors and participants. Part of the helicopters and aircraft will be stationed on unpaved airfields.
A specialized business program is being prepared for MAKS-2009, particularly for business and general aviation: a forum on trends and prospects of developing business and general aviation, stationing the legendary Tu-144 on the static site, retro aircraft of the World War II. The latter is anticipating the 65th anniversary Victory Parade. Besides, shows by the parachute elite of Russia are previewed in the exhibition, with precise landing competitions for Gran Prix MAKS-2009.
Definitive flight program is being agreed with the participants and will eb presented to the visitors of MAKS on August 15-16, 2009.
