Tupolev, the largest Russian developer of aviation equipment, designer of 7 types of civil aircraft, is an aircraft construction company that develops virtually the whole model range in civil aircraft construction.
The main objective of the company is creation and production of aircraft that best suit the needs of carriers and other clients.
Under tough competition, Tupolev is holding its leadership in aviation: successful contracts for supplies of Tu-204 to Cuba, China, Korea and for Red Wings, supplies of Tu-214 to Transaero, Tu-214SR to Rossia, a special aviation squadron.
One of the achievements of Tupolev was the EASA type certificate of airworthiness for Tu-204-120SE, obtained in October 2008. It certifies that all the modern Tupolev aircraft correspond to the strictest international requirements and can be operated in any country.
