The Seventh International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment in Nizhny Tagil - 2009 will take place at the Institute of Metal Testing in Nizhny Tagil on July 8-11.The key features of the venue are the facilities for showing all the products of the participating enterprises in the form of real samples and their demonstration in-action. It is expected that around 60,000 specialists, foreign delegations and military diplomatic missions, foreign headquarters, businessmen and officials from about 50 countries will visit the exhibition. It total, more than 3,000 products will be shown, with over 350 real samples of military equipment.
Rosoboronexport, the only state enterprise entitled for import and export of military and dual-purpose products, will present leaflets and posters with about 200 export samples of equipment for land forces. Partners of Rosoboronexport will have another chance to see that the Russian defense industry produces hi-tech military export products, with fighting characteristics equal to those of their foreign counterparts.
Many types of land equipment will show their fighting power, high speed and high cross-country ability, on water as well.
Rosoboronexport will inform its potential clients about the different options for upgrading the previously supplied arms and military equipment from Russia.
However this Exhibition mainly represents on-ground equipment for the land troops, a show of Russian aviation by the pilot group ‘Sokoli Russii’ is to take place on the Institute’s polygon. Guests and participants will see the flights of Russian fighter jets Su-24, Su-25, Su-27, Mi-24 and Mi-28. Besides, the participants will have a chance to learn more about Russian transport and fighting helicopters Mi-35, Mi-35М and Mi-35P, the fighter helicopters Kа-50, Ка-31, the light multipurpose helicopter Ka-226 and many other current developments in aviation.
Rosoboronexport considers its participation in Nizhny Tagil - 2009 as a good opportunity to promote the best export samples of the achievements of the Russian defense industry.
