Sukhoi is one of the most stable and actively developing Russian companies and banks over 2008A corresponding rating has been prepared by the Agency of Economic News on the basis of a research involving the experts of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Association of Russian Banks, Russian Union of Insurers, National Association of Russian Stock Market, Professional Institute of Stock Instruments and heads and experts of the leading medias, analytical centres, large commercial companies and public organizations.
The main criteria of the research were not bank assets, charter capital and turnover but dynamics of growth, authority on the Russian market and prospects of development. 50 companies in each category were selected during the first stage.
During the second stage, the experts selected top 10 leaders. The category of production companies, apart from Sukhoi, included large Russian production companies: Gazprom, Norilsk Nickel, Rosneft, Rostelekom GK, Russky Alcohol, Vympelcom, TNK-ВР, Transneft and Cherkizovo Group.
