S7 Airlines is one of the first Russian airlines to set up its own aviation training centre equipped with modern flight trainers to train the staff for the operated types of aircraft. The new training centre, S7 Training, was constructed in Q1, 2009. To increase its capabilities, S7 Training made an agreement with Alteon Training (a Boeing subsidiary) for supply of two complex trainers of Boeing 737 Classic and Boeing 737 Next Generation, and a procedural trainer for Boeing 737.
