The 10th International Forum “Hi-Tech of the 21 century” is taking place at Expocentr in Moscow upon the initiative of the Russian and Moscow Government on April 21-24, 2009.The main traditional activities of the Forum are improvement of the national system of innovations, innovative development of the regions and certain enterprises, increasing the efficiency of market promotion for scientific products and technologies, expansion and enhancement of interregional and international business cooperation.

Some of the developments will be spotlights for experts: the brand new IGD-02 diathera indicator developed by the State Ryazan Device Plant - it is intended for appraisal of tonometric intraocular pressure through the lid allowing no contact with the cornea, a mobile unit for deep laser video filming of oil and gas wells presented by NPO Astrofisika with a high potential in geology, an automatic chlorine dioxide production unit and a new technology of constructing minor hydropower plants (HPPs) which can be applied for water treatment stations as a cost-efficient power source for water treatment facilities, an electric car with a load capacity of 2-3 tons for cargo transportation at industrial facilities, warehouses, ports, etc.
