Sukhoi and MiG presenting the Su-35 fighter and upgrade of MiG-29 in Brazil, Sukhoi Holding - ОАО "Компания "Сухой"

Sukhoi Company (JSC) and MiG are presenting the new multifunctional Su-35 fighter and an upgrade program for MiG-29 fighters operated by the Air Forces of Peru at the Latin America Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (LAAD-2009) on April, 14. It is the first time that Russian fighter jet manufacturers are showing their products on a single exhibition stand.

Currently Su-35 is successfully undergoing tests. Mass supplies of the fighters to Russian and foreign customers in Latin America, South-East Asia, Africa and Middle East are planned for 2011.

MiG, Russian Aircraft Corporation, is implementing an upgrade program for the previously supplied MiG-29 fighters in Latin America.

LAAD-2009 is one of the largest exhibitions in this region held since 1997 with the support of Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil. This year, 314 companies from 30 countries are expected there; Russia will be represented by about 20 enterprises and organizations. The State Corporation Rostekhnologii (Russian Technologies) is the organizer of the entire Russian exposition.
