Krasnoyarsk airport switches to summer schedule, Yemelyanovo Airport (Krasnoyarsk) - Аэропорт Емельяново (Красноярск)

Every year, from March 29 till October 27, airports switch to summer air navigation mode which is particular for more intensive morning, day and evening flight peaks.
In average, about 500 passengers use the services of Krasnoyarsk airport on a daily basis, with 15-17 daily departures. Besides, business aviation flights are also expanding as international flights develop.

Airport’s capacity, number of flights and route network increase during the summer period. According to applications from airlines, it is planned to make about 30-35 regular flights within Russia, in the CIS and abroad, apart from charter flights. During a similar period of last year the number of regular flights was 20-25 flights per day, with the peak time in June-August.

Frequency of flights to Moscow and to the East increases during the summer navigation period. There are weekly flights from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Norilsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Mirny, Polarny, Tyumen, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yakutsk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Anapa, Krasnodar, Alma-Aty, Dushanbe, Andizhan, Bishkek, Ufa, Tashkent, Antalya, Saloniki, Beijing. Airlines gradually switch to summer schedule between April, 1 and June, 1.

Airlines also increase the number of daily flights on the most demanded destinations.

Geographic location of Krasnoyarsk airport allows claiming on a considerable expansion of market share of Russia-Europe and Russia-Asia air transport. It also supports the expansion of foreign economic relations with Asia, Europe and North America.

Total amount of post and cargo processed in Krasnoyarsk international airport in 2008 was 17,917 t. volume of serviced passengers over 2008 was 1.031 mln people.
