Rosoboronexport is actively boosting its presence at the world exhibitions and sends its delegations to the four upcoming international events in April 2009.Preparation for the Latin American Exhibition and Conference on Aerospace and Defensive Technologies (LAAD-2009, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, April 14-17, 2009), 8th International Trade Fair for the Equipment for the Police, Surveillance and Security Services (Infopol-2009, Kortrijk, Belgium, April 20 - 22, 2009), 10th International Forum “Hi-tech of XXI century” (Moscow, Expocentre, April 21-24, 2009) and International Defense Industry Fair IDEF 2009 (Istanbul, Turkey, April 27-30, 2009) is in full swing.
Participation of Rosoboronexport in international defense and military equipment exhibitions is one of the main activities aimed at promotion of prospective products of Russian defense industry to foreign markets. Apart from intensive negotiations with the traditional foreign clients and looking for new partners, the foreign exhibitions also envisage wide information and advertising support of Rosoboronexport’s participation, including press conferences, presentations and other types of advertising campaigns.
Today the offer of Rosoboronexport for its foreign partners includes certain types of military equipment and also comprehensive solutions for national on-ground, air and marine defense systems, setup of repair facilities and regional after-sale service centres for military products. Bids offered by Rosoboronexport are among the most demanded ones both in terms of the delivered value-for-money, where Russia is traditionally strong, and in offset proposals.
Rosoboronexport is confident that participation in these exhibitions and demonstration of the newest developments of the Russian defense industry will be an important stage in the expansion of military and technical cooperation of Russia with other countries and will contribute in further enhancement of the profile of Russia’s arms in the world.
