Unmanned Vehicles Forum in Moscow

Third Moscow International Forum and Exhibition “Unmanned multipurpose vehicle systems UVS-TECH 2009” took place in Moscow at “Expocentre Fairgrounds” on January, 25-29.
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Concern “Almaz-Antey”, NefteGazAeroKosmos in partnership with UVS International, the event aims at connecting industry and market through presenting projects, demonstrating achievements of developers and manufacturers and debating on the strategy and current needs of civil industries solved by unmanned vehicles.
Russia is a booming market for unmanned vehicle systems which can be used in production and environmental supervision, engineering safety, control of pipeline and electrical networks condition, on-site security, small-size cargo delivery to hard-to-reach regions, etc.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, State Duma Committee on Industry, State Duma Committee on Security, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Interstate Aviation Committee, Union of Oil and Gas Manufacturers of Russia, International Union of Aviation Industry, Gazprom, Transneft, Moscow Aviation Institute (State Technical University), Moscow State Technical University of N.E. Bauman. It is also under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
