For the fifth time, over 40 Russian companies participated in China’s most awaited aerospace rendezvous of the year, the 7th International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China 2008), which took place in from 4 to 9 November in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.

Alexander Mikheyev, deputy director general and head of the air force department at State Defence Export Corporation Rosoboronexport, leading the Russian delegation, said he hoped that Russia’s participation in Airshow China 2008 would “give a new impetus to Russia’s military-technical cooperation with China and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
