Saint-Petersburg, October 12. AviaPort - United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) plans to deliver over 30 civil jets in 2012, announced Mikhail Pogosyan, CEO of UAC, at Russia-EC aviation summit

"Our task today is to increase the speed of production", said Pogosyan, stressing that in 2014 production of civil jets is to exceed 70 units per year.

Concerning Russian and European cooperation in aviation, Pogosyan noted that expansion of cooperation with EADS and Airbus is on UAC's agenda today. "Our aim is to establish broader cooperation than just supplies of components for A320", said Pogosyan.

Head of UAC also reminded that an agreement on a joint venture with Fisher Composite (Austria) for production of composite-made aggregates was signed in 2011. "This will allow integrating our modern developments in the European programs", believes Pogosyan.
