Тransport Week 2011 to sum up 2011 results of the Russian transport industry and set up its development strategy

August 25: Тransport Week 2011, exhibition, forum and congress held on November 21-26 in Moscow at Sokolniki EcoCenter, will review the results achieved by the Russian transport industry in 2011 and set up its development strategy. Тransport Week 2011 is organized by Russian ministry of transport, operated by Business Dialogue and supported by Transport of Russia - official newspaper of the Russian ministry of transport

A special feature of the Forum held at Transport Week 2011 is the focus of its participants on ecology. Issues of saving energy and resources and improving the ecological stress imposed by the transport industry will be reviewed by the leading experts and during dedicated events. Forum will also host a series of business meetings, roundtables and conferences on the current development of the transport infrastructure as an integral part of the Russian economy.

Transport Week 2011 exhibition will present regional infrastructure projects, transport safety technologies, ecotransport. The exhibition will be divided in railway transport, sea and river transport, air transport and civil aviation, automotive transport, etc.

Transport Week 2011 will see a host of events: Congress ROAD TRAFFIC RUSSIA – 2011, International Congress "Innovations in road infrastructure", Council for education in transport, master classes, open presentation of projects by student societies, awarding of young scientists, TranspART–2011 student exhibition, sports competition, open Transport Ministry Cup for team sports.

Events of Transport Week 2011 will feature over 1,000 delegates from the Russian transport ministry, the related authorities and agencies, legislative and executive authorities, largest Russian and foreign transport, insurance companies and expeditors, banks, associations and leading business media.
