Rosoboronexport, Inertial Technologies and Sagem establish RS Alliance - joint venture for navigation systems , MAKS 2011 - МАКС 2011

During MAKS-2011, Rosoboronexport (part of Russian Technologies), Inertial Technologies (Теchnocomplex, Russia) and Sagem (Safran Group), in the presence of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Sergey Chemezov, general director of Russian Technologies, made an announcement for RS Alliance - new joint venture in inertial navigation systems for military aviation
RS Alliance - a key Russian company specialized in military technologies and created together with the European partners - will be located in Russia and obey the Russian legislation.

RS Alliance is to focus on new navigation system LINS-100 RS of 5th generation developed by Sagem and Inertial Technologies. LINS-100 provides better precision for military aircraft. Autonomous inertial navigation system LINS-100 RS will be shown on digital gyrolasers.

As Anatoly Isaikin noted, "Cooperation with Sagem – our traditional partner – is essential to regard development of international cooperation in high precision and hi-tech innovative areas", noted Isaikin.

According to Sagem president Philippe Peticollain, "RS Alliance will let Sagem expand its cooperation with the Russian aviation. In this partnership, Sagem is proud to aсt as long-term partner, both governmentally and industrially".
