According to KAPO of Gorbunov (Kazan Aviation Production Association), Тu-214ОN will be shown at МАКS-2011. On June 1, Тu-214ОN will make its first flight.
The mission of Тu-214ОN is to make inspection flights in the frame of open sky contracts. Тu-214ОN is equipped with air monitoring devices for military reconaissance. KAPO produces Тu-214ОN aircraft for Vega Concern. At KAPO, Тu-214ОN will undergo test and certification flights, as well as on-board air monitoring systems tests, to be then delivered for state testing.
