Sky of Russia is open, MAKS 2011 - МАКС 2011

On June 30, the Moscow House of Photography saw opening of Sky of Russia - a joint project of Aviasalon and Multimedia Complex of Contemporary Arts presenting a unique collection of photos related to the 100 years of Russian aviation – from the first b&w photos to the contemporary works.
100 years of Russian aviation, 75 years of Valery Chkalov's cross-polar flight, 50 years of the first human space mission – these notable events are celebrated by MAKS 2011 that opens with Sky of Russia photo exhibition.

At the opening, the following winners of competition "The sky obeys them", whose works are included in the exhibitions of the Moscow House of Photography, were awarded: Igor Rudenko, Artem Anikeev, Mikhael Gribovsky, Leonid Faerberg, Marina Lystseva, Alexander Mishin, Igor Zheleznyak and Fedor Borisov.
