French Air Forces to participate in MAKS 2011, MAKS 2011 - МАКС 2011

On June 8th 2011, Aviasalon and representatives of the French Air Force and the French Embassy in Moscow countersigned the protocol for Le Rafale solo display participation in the daily flying display on MAKS-2011.Flown by Capt. Michael Brocard, official Rafale display Pilot, le Rafale, which is the most recent aircraft of the French Air Force, will be displayed every day during a 9 minute air exhibition. It is a multirole aircraft, twin engine, 9-G capable wich can carry 21 000 pounds of external payload. Either single or double seat, the Rafale will come from Saint Dizier Air Force Base.
Built by Dassault Aviation company, the Rafale is currently progressively equipping one of the most famous French fighter squadron: le Normandie Niemen, which will be fully equipped next year and stationed at Mont-de-Marsan Air Force Base.
