Board of KUMZ held a meeting on January 27 to discuss the results of the plan for technological development in 2010 and approve the investment program for overhaul of the key facilities in 2011. Sergey Krasnoperov, Chief Engineer of KUMZ, sums up the main achievements

Financing of investment projects in 2010 as well as the planned works within the technological development plan have been fully accomplished.

Technological development рrogram went along the two main lines: commissioning of the new investment projects and technical overhaul of the existing facilities. The priority was given to the works and sites that are key for the growth of capitalization, good production indicators, quality of products, responsible use of resources and strengthening KUMZ' market position.

A decision was taken to allocate additional financing on top of the initial plan for 2011. According to Krasnoperov, this witnesses KUMZ' growing capabilities. In terms of commercial output, volume of the program is to triple that of 2010.
