Delegation of the International Airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) has met new airlines at Routes Development Forum in Vancouver (Canada) to discuss potential cooperation

The 16th World Routes Development Forum was held in Vancouver (Canada) on September 19-21, 2010, with delegations of the largest international airports, passenger and cargo airlines.

Representatives of the Novosibirsk airport had over thirty meetings with the airlines, introduced the prospects of developing the Siberian air hub and discussed the possible areas of cooperation with the new carriers.

Some of the airlines that Tolmachevo airport met at Routes were Lufthansa, El Al Israel Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Finnair, Japan Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Egypt Air, etc. Some of the discussed possibilities were opening of new flights from Novosibirsk to Tel-Aviv, Frankfurt, Prague, Istanbul, Cairo, Helsinki, Riga and other cities.

Representatives of Airport Tolmachevo also discussed implementation of technical and commercial landings in Novosibirsk with the cargo airlines: Air Bridge Cargo, Air Atlanta Icelandic, Amerijet, UPS, Jade Cargo International.
