INDO DEFENCE 2010 EXPO & FORUM, supported by the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Industry and Trade of Indonesia, is expected to collect representatives of 700 companies from more than 40 countries. Participation of Rosoboronexport in INDO DEFENCE 2010 EXPO & FORUM is another step that promotes long-term military cooperation between Russia and the Asia Pacific region.

2010 is a special year for both Indonesia and Russia: it is the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 50th anniversary of Moscow's and Jakarta's signing of papers that paved the way for a unique cooperation in military technologies.

"At INDO DEFENCE 2010 EXPO & FORUM, we're discussing a very wide range of projects with our partners from Asia Pacific region", - says Nikolay Dimidyuk, Head of the Russian delegation and Director for Special Missions of Rosoboronexport. "I mean supplies of ready-made arms and military equipment as well as the transfer of some production and assembly technologies. I would also like to point out that Indonesia is focused on developing its national industries including defense enterprises. This is also important for Rosoboronexport because our main objective is to develop full and mutually beneficial military and technological cooperation between Russia and Indonesia".
