Release Date: 2010-10-28

Moscow/28 October 2010 – Russian Helicopters, the Russian helicopter engineering holding company, part of Oboronprom, and the Russian Center for Scientific and Technical Services Dinamika (CSTS Dinamika), have signed a cooperation agreement in marketing, development, production and training for pilots and engineers operating Russian-made rotorcraft.
Russian Helicopters and CSTS Dinamika are planning to jointly create, certify, and run technical training units (TTU) for flight and engineering personnel operating helicopter complexes of various roles.

The agreement also envisions joint marketing and the promotion of modern TTU for rotorcraft manufactured by Russian Helicopters on local and international markets within integrated delivery contracts.

“Creating and developing a global system for the training of flight personnel are among the top priorities for Russian Helicopters,” states Dmitry Petrov, CEO of Russian Helicopters. “Cooperation with CSTS Dinamika is an important stage for the strategic transition from selling helicopters as separate products to selling their entire lifecycle, including servicing, preparation and training of the flight personnel. We have gained a new reliable partner who, together with R.E.T. Kronshtadt and Transas, will enhance our capabilities in promoting helicopters on the global market. We hope that a partnership with a developer and producer of simulators will allow Russian Helicopters provide the best training for pilots flying Russian-made rotorcraft on the global market."

“Our simulators allow training in conditions closest to real life, according to the modern pilot crew training standards,” says Alexander Litvinenko, Director General of CSTS Dinamika. “The agreement will help develop the training services for flight crew, improve flight safety and provide more economical operation of helicopters operated by Russian and foreign companies”.

Dinamika manufactures modern simulators for a wide variety of Mil helicopters. In cooperation with Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, the company has developed and manufactured simulators for Mi-8MTV, Mi-8(MTV-5), Mi-17-1V, Mi-171, Mi-24P, Mi-24PN, Mi-35M, and Mi-28N operated by state aviation services and in civil aviation.

In 2010, CSTS Dinamika received its first order for development of a training complex for flight personnel from Kamov JSC (also part of Russian Helicopters), the developer of Ka-52. This complex will also include an automatic system for theoretical training of flight personnel.
