S7 Airlines to buy up to 8 aircraft in 2011, expects 6% passenger flow growth, Aviaport

Moscow, October 12, AviaPort - S7 Airlines plans to buy up to 8 mid-range aircraft in 2011, as Vladimir Obyedkov, CEO of S7, told at "Wings of Russia" conference.
According to Obyedkov, "S7 will purchase two Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Globus and 5-6 Airbus A320 for S7 Airlines given the shareholders' approval".

Besides, Obyedkov noted that the total passenger flow of S7 Group over 2010 is expected to grow 6% up to 6.2 mln passengers.

S7 Group comprises two airlines - S7 Airlines and Globus airline, a tour operator S7 Tour, S7 Ticket, S7 Training, an aviation training center, S7 Engineering, a chain of maintenance centers, and Sibir-Technic.
