Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay Bordyuzha and First Deputy Director of Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia) sign the agreement on establishing the Interstate Corporation of Development on July 1, 2010, in the framework of the business program of the First International Forum “Engineering Technologies 2010”. The aim of the Corporation is to develop scientific, industrial and high-technology cooperation in the CSTO countries.
The assets of the CSTO states will form the Interstate Corporation of Development. The Manufacturing Association named after A.S. Popov (Russia) and Corporation “AK-Maral” (Kyrgyzstan) have confirmed their intention to enter the Corporation. Representatives of the military and industrial complexes of Armenia and Kazakhstan have also expressed readiness for entering the Interstate Corporation of Development.
According to the agreement, the Corporation will be formed by December 30, 2010, and will provide the creation of more than 3,000 jobs.
Total production volume by 2020 is to reach 50 billion rubles.
