Popov Radio Plant joins Russia – Hong Kong Business Association, Omsk Manufacturing Association named after A.S. Popov - Радиозавод им. А.С. Попова

Russia – Hong Kong Business Association board meeting was held on February 19, 2010 in Moscow. Some of the issues on the agenda were the Association's program for 2010, new memberships, election of the Association's Chairman.Ivan Polyakov, Director General of Popov Radio Plant, was elected the Chairman of the Russia – Hong Kong Business Association. Nikita Kolesnikov, President of “SAVVA Group” management company, the first Chairman of the Association, is now Honorary Chairman of the Association.
Russia – Hong Kong Business Association (www.russiahk.ru) was established in 1995 in co-operation with Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The Association aims at the promotion of wide-scale bilateral trade and economic co-operation. The Association members are over 50 Russian and Hong Kong companies, including “SAVVA Group” management company, “Sportmaster” group of companies, “MOSMART” Group, Cathay Pacific Airways, Sprandi International Ltd. and others.
In 2009, the commodity turnover between Russia and Hong Kong amounted to over 1 billion USD and the aggregate flow of tourists was 32,000 people.
