Aeroflot’s results for July and for the seven months of 2010 exceed the results of the Russia’s air transportation sector published by Rosaviatsiya. The passenger traffic in the industry increased 28.3% in July and 35.2% over the seven months

In July 2010, Aeroflot’s passenger traffic increased 40.3% with respect to the similar period of 2009 and amounted to 3 bln 672.7 mln passenger-kilometers. The number of passengers uplifted by the Company increased 32.9% and amounted to 1 mln 183.8 thousand passengers. Passenger uplifts increased 37.5% (+204.7 thousand passengers) on international flights and 25.5% (+88.1 thousand passengers) on domestic flights. The occupation of passenger seats in July amounted to 84.4%, which exceeded the previous-year level 6.9%. The percentage of commercial traffic was 67.0%, that is, 5.9% more than the previous year’s indicator.

Aeroflot’s results in terms of passenger traffic growth for July exceeded the industry average results 12.0%.

Over the seven months of 2010, Aeroflot’s passenger traffic has been 19 bln 302.6 mln passenger-kilometers, i.e., 38.3% more than in the similar period in 2009. The number of passengers uplifted by the Company has increased 32.5%, i.e., to 6 mln 285.5 thousand passengers. The occupation of passenger seats has also increased to 76.6%, which exceeds the previous-year level 10.9%. The percentage of commercial traffic was 62.6%, that is, 10.3% more than in the previous year.

Aeroflot’s results in terms of passenger traffic growth for the seven months exceed the industry average results 3.1%.
