Transaero’s Q1 2010 Passenger Turnover Up 74.8%, Transaero - Авиакомпания "Трансаэро"

The results of Transaero Airlines performance for the first quarter of 2010 and March continues to support the company's sustainable development platform as well as revealing a significant improvement in its performance y-o-y.

Both domestic and international operations experienced growth in Q1 2010. Domestic passenger turnover grew 40% and international passenger turnover grew 85%. Transaero Airlines carried 92% of all passengers on its regularly scheduled flights.

Summarizing the results, Transaero’s General Director Olga Pleshakova said, "The extraordinary results for Q1 2010 were achieved through the focused, responsible and professional performance of the whole Transaero team in line with the overall development plans of the company. Transaero will continue to strengthen its position in the market - both on domestic and international routes. Our main criteria are the same: to offer safe, reliable and comfortable air travel and value for money for our passengers in all the travel class categories".
