Rosoboronexport increasing Russian arms and military equipment export, Rosoboronexport - ФГУП «Рособоронэкспорт»

Today Rosoboronexport is the only state Russian intermediary for export of the whole range of products, technologies and military/dual purpose services. Rosoboronexport accounts for about 80% of the export of Russian arms and military equipment

As a result, Rosoboronexport is showing stable growth of the volume of military product exports that has doubled since 2001. As compared to 2008, the export volume has grown 10%. The order portfolio by late January 2010 reached 34 bln USD - a 15 bln USD increase y-o-y.

Aviation equipment accounts for about 50% of the Russian exports over the recent years. For other arms and military equipment, ground forces account for 19%, air defense – 13%, Navy – 13.7%. The other 4% are other types of arms and military equipment.

Rosoboronexport cooperates with almost 700 Russian industrial companies and supplies military products and dual purpose products to more than 80 countries in the world.
