Tolmachevo airport the first in Siberia to enter Siberian Accord, Tolmachevo Airport (Novosibirsk) - Международный аэропорт "Толмачево"

Tolmachevo airport, one of the largest air hubs of Siberia and the Far East, enters the Interregional Association "Siberian Accord" (IASA) as an associate on March 11, 2010
The recent meeting of IASA featuring representatives of the authorities, science and business was focused on the idea of creating an experimental model of integral development of the Russian regions on the basis of the Siberian federal region which constitutes 34% of the Russian territory.

Viktor Tolokonsky, Governor of Novosibirsk region, pointed out the readiness of Novosibirsk region to cooperate and share the successful practice of planning and developing the main strategic papers with other regions.

Alexander Borodin, General Director of Tolmachevo Airport, commented on Tolmachevo's recent entry in IASA: "I'm pleased to note that Tolmachevo is the first Siberian airport to join IASA. Our new strategy of development is being implemented both internally and on a regional scale".
