UAC forms three new business units, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC)

Alexey Fedorov, President and Chairman of United Aircraft Corporation, has signed the procedure of forming UAC business units (BU): UAC - fighter jets, UAC - commercial aircraft and UAC - special aircraft. Creating these structures in the framework of corporate reorganization in 2010-2012 was approved at the meeting of the Board of UAC on November 19, 2009

Mikhail Pogosyan, first Vice President of UAC, is responsible for UAC - fighter jets BU which will consist of Sukhoi Holding, OKB of Sukhoi, KAPO of Y.A.Gagarin, NAPO of V.P.Chkalov, MiG Aircraft Construction Corporation, Sokol Aviation Construction Plant and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Corporation.

Oleg Demchenko, Senior Vice President of UAC, is responsible for UAC - commercial aircraft BU which will consist of Irkut Corporation, UAC - Civil Aircraft, UAC - Transport Aircraft, Ilyushin Aviation Complex, Voronezh Aircraft Construction Enterprise, Aviastar-SP, Yakovlev Design Bureau. Some of the programs carried out by this BU are MS-21, An-140, An-148, Tu-204, Il-76, Il-112, Il-96, An-124, MTS, prospective projects of civil aviation and Su-30MKI/MKM/MKA and Yak-130.

Alexander Bobryshev, UAC Senior Vice President for strategic and special aviation, is responsible for UAC - special aircraft BU which will consist of Tupolev JSC, Kazan Aviation Production Enterprise of S.P.Gorbunov, Taganrog Aviation and Taganrog Aviation Scientific Complex of G.M.Beriev.
