Rosoboronexport at DUBAI AIR SHOW 2009: new projects for the Middle East, Rosoboronexport - ФГУП «Рособоронэкспорт»

Rosoboronexport is planning extensive negotiations with its local partners during Dubai Air Show 2009 (November 15-19, UAE) related to the new offers from Russia for enhancement of the national defense systems of a few Gulf countries and the Arab Peninsula.
Dubai Air Show 2009 is an important event in the world aviation and space and a perfect opportunity to agree the current and prospective projects for Russian arms supplies, including the joint ventures and R&D, - said Mikhail Zavaliy, Director for Special Missions of Rosoboronexport.

Russia’s share on the Middle East arms markets is growing steadily which is reflected by the number of contracts with the UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Syria, Iran, Algeria, Libya and Egypt.

At the Dubai Airshow, Rosoboronexport presents a wide array of Russian aviation, arms, air defense and other hi-tech products. Considerable interest is shown towards the newest Russian jet fighters: Su-35, Su-30MK2, MiG-35, MiG-29SMT, training fighter Yak-130, Mi and Ka family helicopters and air defense systems.

That is why the range of our extensive contacts with our partners in the Middle East varies from aviation equipment and air defense systems to space projects, and Russia has all the necessary technologies and resources for that”.
