Light Jets Europe will provide further insights into how the market is unfolding, as the Embraer Phenom 100 will have been in operations for 12 months or so with various European based operators.
Key issues on the agenda:
- will the economy in Europe pick up sufficiently to establish the air taxi model and the point to point service and provide a serious threat to the scheduled carriers?
- will operators be able to afford to position aircraft in sufficient numbers at a variety of bases around Europe to provide flexibility to customers?
- will customers convert to light jets with enough enthusiasm to sustain the business models of all the operators purchasing and maintaining light jets?
