Vladivostok Air was founded in 1932 and became a public company in 1994. Today, it is the largest air carrier in Russia's Far East carrying over 700,000 passengers annually. Core activities of Vladivostok Air are passenger, domestic and international post and cargo transportation, airport activities, lease of aviation equipment, technical maintenance of aircraft.

The airline conducts flights to 24 domestic and 13 international locations. In addition to regular flights, Vladivostok Air offers chartered flights for corporate delegations and private individuals. Vladivostok Air maintains a modern fleet of 50 aircraft including long haul Tu-204-300, middle haul Airbus A-320 and Tu-154M and short haul Yak-40. Vladivostok Avia is also one of the largest helicopter operators, with Mi-8 and Ka-32 serving for passenger and cargo transportation.
