Transaero Airlines is the second-largest passenger air carrier in Russia. Transaero launched its services in November, 1991. The Transaero’s fleet consists of 47 modern, well maintained aircraft, including twelve Boeing 747s, two Boeing 777s, eleven 767s, nineteen 737s and three Tupolev 214s. It is the first and the only carrier flying Boeing 777 in four class configuration and Boeing 747 passenger aircraft in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe. Transaero has the largest long-haul fleet in Russia. Transaero has Russian, European and US certification for independent aircraft maintenance.
